Tamworth’s Miki Ninness has been named as one of the best up and coming early childhood educators in the state.
She’s one of 26 finalists in the Australian Family Early Education and Care Awards.
Ms Ninness works at Denison Street Early Learning Centre and is nominated in the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ category.
Three state finalists will now be chosen to battle it out with the rest of the country for a national title across four categories.
Two Armidale childcare workers have also been selected as finalists.
