Gosford Water Polo star Luke Stimson has debuted for Australia at the World Junior Championships in Romania.
After wins against Argentina and Iran, the Aussies faced the USA for a spot in the quarter-finals and almost pulled off the upset of the tournament.
It was locked at seven-all at half time….and just one goal separated the teams going into the final break.
But the Americans scored three goals to one in the final quarter to advance to the last eight.
Australia now clash with The Netherlands.
