Thunder started the first period with 2 quick goals showing the Northstars they were here for business at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium on Sunday. The second period finished with 3 a piece setting up for a third period showdown. Wehebe Darge and Zane Jones claimed a goal each but Thunder hit back with 2 of their own and suddenly it was locked at 5-all. With 48 seconds to go, Daniel Berno found the net giving Northstars the win.
