Man charged after holding woman against will
The man was arrested after fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

A 34-year-old man has been charged following a pursuit near Tweed Heads last night.
Police were called to a service station on Minjungbal Drive, Tweed Heads South, about 10:15pm following reports a woman was being held against her will by a man known to her.
Upon arrival of the police, the man allegedly fled the scene in a vehicle which was pursued by police until it was terminated due to the manner of driving.
The vehicle was then located on Amaroo Drive, Banora Point, by police around 11:20pm.
The man attempted to flee in the vehicle and allegedly rammed a police car; however, was arrested following a short struggle.
A 25-year-old woman in the vehicle was not injured; however, was taken to hospital for observation.
The 34-year-old man was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station where he was charged with a number of offences and refused bail to appear before Court today, where he was formally refused bail.
He is due on court on Wednesday May 15.
