WORK TO BEGIN ON TWO NEW ROUNDABOUTS IN LISMORE

Two notorious intersections in Lismore will be upgraded after the state and federal government funded more than $750,000 for the road projects.

The two roundabouts will be installed on Orion street – one at the intersection of Diadem and the other at Keen Street.

“Lismore is really keen to progress infrastructure projects we’re working with both levels of government to make sure that coming out of the coronavirus we have jobs in our community and these upgrades are a part of that,” Mayor Isaac Smith said.

Council expects to begin initial works on the upgrades shortly.
