Manning Base Hospital celebrates International Nurses Day

They’re the friendly faces you see on the wards and today it was all about nurses.

Manning Base Hospital held a special celebration for International Nurses Day – decorating wards with balloons and a large banner on the front lawn.

“For nurses its recognition for all the hard work we do throughout the year and its been tough over the years so its a thank you from everyone to say we appreciate everything you’ve done,” nurse LJ Chester said.

And it wouldn’t be complete without a cake.
