Newcastle Knights players’ Darius Boyd and Akuila Uate will join the Kangaroos’ train on squad for the New Zealand Test in Townsville and the Prime Minister’s XII match in Papua New Guinea.
Two other Knights, Alex McKinnon and Korbin Sims, were also named for the Junior Kangaroos’ train-on squad.
The Prime Minister’s XII will be played on September 23, while the test will be held on October 13 at Dairy Farmers Stadium.
