Passenger numbers at Newcastle Airport are taking off with the facility recording its third consecutive quarter of growth.
The regional airport has seen more than 300,000 passengers between October and December last year.
Numbers are expected to continue to grow in 2016, with Virgin Australia adding almost 20,000 additional seats on its Newcastle to Brisbane route.
