A 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl have died in a firey crash at Cessnock, in the Hunter Valley, early this morning. At around 4.30am, a vehicle with six people on board, left Duffie Drive on a slight bend, hit a tree and burst into flames.
Two other teenagers, a 21-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have all been treated for multiple injuries.
The road and the crash site remain closed with police and rescuers describing the scene as one of the worst they’ve encountered.
