SWAP MEET RAISES AN EXTRA $6,000 FOR THE MID NORTH COAST CANCER INSTITUTE

The Mid North Coast Cancer Institute has been given a cash boost, thanks to members of the Hastings Auto Restorers Society.

$6000 was raised from parking and raffles at a Port Macquarie Racecourse swap meet.

It will be put towards the treatment of local cancer patients, as well as medical equipment, hardship assistance and comfort items.

Over the past ten years, $60,000 has been raised for the cause.
