Former Newcastle Knight Danny Buderus will return to Taree for a second time this week, for a Group 3 charity clash between Taree and Wingham tomorrow.
It’s been named the Kristylea Bridge Cup in memory of a local woman who passed away from cancer last year.
Buderus is turning out to show his support for the Bridge family.
“Obviously Gary’s a great friend and a great man in the community so to come up here and support the day is the least I could do.”
Organisers are hoping to raise $10,000 for local charity, Can Assist.
The game kicks off at Jack Neal Oval at 3pm.
