Prison escapee Marcus Buchanan remains on the run after another possible sighting – this time at Bowraville.
Police responded to reports the 33 year old had been seen mid morning yesterday walking near the old Aboriginal mission in the town.
A number of addresses were checked but no further sightings have been reported.
Last Tuesday afternoon, Buchanan was reportedly seen in a yard at Toormina but he wasn’t found on the premises.
The elusive fugitive had been serving a one year sentence for assault when he fled the Glen Innes Correctional centre in October.
