Taree’s Grace Jennings has been named in the New South Wales Combined High Schools open girls water polo team.
The Chatham High School student was selected after competing in the state championships at the Manning Aquatic Centre last week.
Jennings played for the Hunter squad, which remained undefeated during the four-day tournament.
Hunter took out the championship for the second year running, defeating Sydney East seven points to three.
If she impresses judges as part of the state team, Jennings could be selected to represent Australia at the end of next year.
