COFFS HARBOUR’S FISHOS CLOSES ITS DOORS

Coffs Harbour’s troubled Deep Sea Fishing Club has closed its doors for what could be the final time.

Yesterday it was placed into liquidation by the club’s administrator, for failing to meet a payment under its deed of agreement.

Coffs Harbour Council had asked the state government to extend the lease on the waterfront site to 2031, to make it a more viable business proposition.

A longer term option for the site will be considered over coming months.
