Vision has emerged of a fisherman’s close encounter with a shark off the coast of Nambucca Heads.
Coffs Harbour’s Rob Moustafa filmed the curious creature – believed to be a great white shark – during a fishing trip with mates last week.
“Wow! This is wow alright, look at this, this is amazing!”
The Nambucca Fishing Club says it’s not uncommon to see sharks around this time of year, due to large schools of bait fish in the water.
The shark has not been spotted since.
