Labor’s Ryan Park talks future of regional health portfolio during Taree visit

NSW Shadow Health Minister Ryan Park has shot down rumours Labor would dump the regional health portfolio if elected on March 25.

It follows Labor frontbencher Jenny Aitchison indicating the plans at a forum on Monday.

Mr Park said his party is focused on better health outcomes for the regions, and the decision lies with party leader Chris Minns.

“There’s been no decision about that made, that’s a decision Chris will make if Chris is given the privilege to form Premier (government),” Mr Park said.

Mr Parks was in Taree today to discuss health needs with nurses and doctors.
