The inquest into a boating accident on Lake Macquarie that claimed the life of a teenage girl will resume in Newcastle on Friday.
14-year-old, Courtney Simon died after the boat she and two teenage boys were in, capsized in wild conditions in June 2011.
On Saturday, Courtney’s family launched a fundraising and awareness campaign to promote wearing life jackets in small boats.
