Dissenter marks 500th win for legendary local trainer Albert Stapleford

Most know the feeling of watching a race horse cross the line first – few can say it’s been one they’ve personally trained – even fewer have done it 500 times.

That’s exactly what Central Coast trainer Albert Stapleford has achieved – the 92-year-old marking his quintuple century when mare ‘Dissenter’ won last week in Gosford.
