LANGFORD AND TEAM BRUNEL WIN TOUGH LEG SEVEN

Lake Macquarie sailor Kyle Langford and his crewmates onboard Team Brunel have scored a narrow victory on the 7,800 nautical mile leg seven of the Volvo Ocean Race, arriving in Brazil early this morning.
With a sailor from a rival boat lost at sea midway through the stage, it’s being remembered as one of the toughest in the event’s history.
Fellow Hunter competitors Chris Nicholson and Lucas Chapman are expected to arrive in port later tonight.
