Two charged after woman allegedly kidnapped and body of man located on Central Coast

Two people will face court today after the body of a man was found and a woman was allegedly kidnapped on NSW’s Central Coast.

At about 4.30pm AEDT on Saturday, emergency services were called to Levitt Street, Wyong, following reports a woman had escaped a nearby unit after allegedly being kidnapped.

The 44-year-old woman allegedly told police she had been there since Thursday.

A man’s body was found in a Wyong apartment after a woman claimed to have been held captive there for days.
Daniel Hasapis and Bonnie Cullen have been charged over an alleged murder and kidnapping in Wyong, NSW.

She was treated at the scene before being taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition for treatment of multiple injuries including burns.

While speaking with detectives later, the woman raised concerns for the welfare of a man who she believed was also at the unit, claiming there had been a serious altercation.

Soon after, police found the body of 52-year-old man Sean Froggatt inside.

Police arrested 30-year-old Daniel Hasapis at the unit and later charged him with kidnapping and murder.

A 33-year-old woman, Hasapis’ partner Bonnie Cullen, was then arrested about 10pm. She was charged in relation to concealing a serious offence.

They will face Wyong local court today.
