Two teenage girls dead after coming off a biscuit near Lake Keepit

A family is in mourning, after two teenage cousins died at Rushes Creek near Tamworth late yesterday.

The inflatable they were being towed on struck a submerged tree stump. Witnesses and paramedics did all they could to try and save them but they died at the scene.
