New independent body announced for Lismore to approve developments and house relocation

The state government has this afternoon announced an independent body, specifically designed to unlock housing in Lismore.

It comes as a proposal to build more than 700 houses on the North Lismore Plateau has been rejected by the Northern Regional Planning Panel.
