Christmas gifts donated to Manning Base Hospital

A donation of toys will make Christmas a bit brighter for sick children at Manning Base Hospital.

More than 150 gifts were delivered to the children’s ward this morning, coming from the recent Coffs Harbour Special Children’s Christmas Party.

“I think we get more out of it because its so exciting to bring the toys down and have them here they’re able to give them out on Christmas Day, Lyn Iverson said.

“We’re able to give toys out to the kids at Christmas time from ED to special care, nursery and here,” the ward’s Marion Coventry said.

And there’s more to come – other donations will be made across the coast before Christmas Day.
