Boaties heading to sea at Nambucca Heads can do so more safely with the completion of a new boat ramp at Shelly Beach.
The launch area has been improved thanks to a state government grant of almost $140,000.
The popular beach’s amentities block has also beed replaced and new storm water drainage installed.
Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey, says the improvements were identified as part of the government’s Regional Boating Plan.
