A man aged in his 70s in the Hunter New England Health District has been diagnosed with coronavirus, after recently returning from a trip to Italy.
The man remains in isolation, and Hunter New England Local Health staff are checking the man’s condition daily.
People in close contact with the 70-year-old have also been advised to isolate themselves.
Health authorities have not confirmed the man’s location.
