Avoca has kicked off the Central Coast Hunter surf boat series in style – leading the pack after today’s season opener.

The club was one of 14 racing at Ocean Beach for first of four round of competition.

Originally from Toronto, Sophie studied at Charles Sturt University Bathurst before starting her journalism career with NBN News in 2020, broadcasting in New England and North West.
