COLOURFUL CONVOY RETURNS FROM VARIETY BASH

A staggering $800,000 has been raised from this year’s Variety Bash, with the colourful convoy of cars arriving back in Newcastle early this afternoon.
Over the past seven days, participants traveled across New South Wales to towns such as Dubbo, Coonabarabran and Casino.
“We’ve been to some amazingly remote and rural communities and the kids have had a terrific time and the 85 bashers, all the different cars have come home safe and sound and raised a lot of money for kids in need in our community,” said Variety Regional Director Jason Bourke
All proceeds from the event will stay in the Hunter region.
