Lennox Point closed off while beached whale is removed

A sad sight in Lennox Head with a beached whale discovered at Lennox Point this morning.

The Point was closed to the public after the mammal was removed by a crane.

National Parks vets will now try to determine the beaked whale’s cause of death.
