North Coast Population & Public Health encourages residents to be safe around floodwater

The North Coast Population and Public Health is encouraging residents to avoid unnecessary contact with contaminated floodwater.

The Northern New South Wales local health district has warned flood affected water may contain diluted sewage and contaminants as well as debris.

Anyone involved in flood clean-up activities are encouraged to wear safety equipment.
