CAR LEAVES TRAIL OF DESTRUCTION ON CENTRAL COAST, WOMAN INJURED

A woman has been flown to John Hunter Hospital after she was struck by a car at Tuggerah on the Central Coast this morning.
The 35-year-old mother was waiting for her car to be serviced when she was struck by an out of control car that left Johnson Road. The vehicle also hit a water main, crashed through a steel fence and landed on top of a vehicle in a car yard.
The woman has been placed in an induced coma. She’s suffering head, arm and leg injuries.
A man in his 20s who was driving the car and his female passenger were taken to Gosford Hospital with minor injuries.
