Varroa mite mostly eradicated from red zones across New South Wales

Authorities say they’ve managed to ‘mostly contain’ the parasite which had the potential to destroy Australia’s honey industry.

But some industry representatives fear the effort to eradicate the varroa mite, could be compromised by people doing the wrong thing.
