Lismore Cup runs postponed race at Grafton track with Spanish Point winning

The Lismore Cup has run its postponed race in Grafton.

The contenders were unchanged from last week’s lineup for the $75,000 race that was called off due to poor weather.

In the final 500 metres Spanish Point came from the outside after starting second from the back.

The Kris Lees’ Gold Coast trained horse has now qualified for Sydney’s $2 million Big Dance race.
