More than 20 loads of fence palings illegally dumped at Stotts Creek

More than 20 loads of fence palings have been dumped outside the Stotts Creek Recovery Centre by – what authorities have labelled – a serial dumper.

Over the past few months, approximately 10 panels per load have been abandoned alongside roads and in cane fields on Bartletts Road and Leddays Creek at Stotts Creek.

Tweed Shire Council is now targeting illegal dumping – with maximum penalties up to $250,000 for individuals.
