LISMORE CUP PUBLIC HOLIDAY LEFT IN LIMBO AWAITING APPROVAL

Council has announced the Lismore Cup half-day public holiday is yet to be officially approved by the State Government.

The races will be going ahead at the Turf Club but the September 24 holiday remains in limbo less than three weeks out.

Lismore City Council says the delay has been caused by the pandemic but is hopeful of a response shortly.
