Police have issued a warning to parents to be mindful of the dangers online, after a Central Coast man allegedly sexually assaulted a young girl he’d met on the internet.
The 12-year-old started talking with the man on social media earlier this month, before meeting him at Wyoming on April 8.
It’s alleged the 40-year-old sexually assaulted her during this meeting.
Detectives arrested the man at a home in Wyoming yesterday, before he was charged with aggravated sexual assault and indecent assault.
