COFFS GREENS CALL FOR EFFICIENT WASTE MANAGEMENT

The Coffs Harbour Greens are calling for an inquiry into bulky waste management by the Coffs Harbour and Bellingen councils.
They say the region’s $195-million landfill site is filling rapidly with items that should be recycled.
Note that the Mid North Coast Greens (in Bellingen Shire) and the Coffs Harbour Greens, jointly asked for an inquiry into why ratepayers will be paying extra millions because of allegedly inefficient recycling practices.
Will an inquiry be put in place by the three councils that send waste to the Coffs Coast Recovery Park landfill? Greens councillors will push for an inquiry.
