CLUNES MAN FACES COURT OVER ALLEGEDLY STEALING DURING LISMORE FLOODS

A Clunes man has reappeared before Ballina Local Court accused of looting during Lismore’s floods.
Police allege the 46-year-old stole a tyre changing machine worth $10,000, an air compressor, welder and blinds during the cleanup.
He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
He has been granted conditional bail.. those conditions include that he doesn’t enter Lismore or go within 10 kilometres of the area until he is required to reappear in the town’s local court in July.
