NORTHERN RIVERS RECONSTRUCTION CORPORATION COMES INTO EFFECT FROM TODAY

The Northern Rivers Reconstruction Corporation has today started up – to assist the region’s flood recovery.

It will have sweeping powers across the region, including the ability to enforce buying and subdividing land.

Decisions will be made in step with the independent flood inquiry’s findings – and other government responses.
