BAGO WINERY GRAPE STOMP RETURNS THIS SUNDAY

Dozens of wine-lovers are preparing to get their feet dirty in this weekend’s 17th successive grape stomping competition at Bago Vineyard.
Recent wet weather and heat has helped with vine growth, creating some premium quality grapes.
Competitors will be given 60 seconds to crush 10-kilograms of grapes, with the aim of succeeding a record seven litres of grape juice, which was produced by one team three-years ago.
The gates open at 10am on Sunday… stomping starts at noon.
