THE RACE THAT STOPS KEMPSEY

The spring racing carnival is still in swing on the Mid North Coast, with the Kempsey Cup running on home soil tomorrow.

Horses will leap from the barriers at 1:35 for the first of eight races to run over the course of the day.

Club president John Graham is expecting more than 2,500 people through the gate and says the track hasn’t looked better.

There will be full TAB service, bookmakers and a fashions on the field event.
