A runaway tyre is to blame for a two car pile up on the Hawkesbury River Bridge this morning.
A south-bound car towing a boat lost a wheel on the bridge just after 11:30, rolling into oncoming traffic.
Two females travelling in the same vehicle were injured in the crash.
They were taken to a Sydney hospital where they’re in a stable condition.
