NATIONAL HONOURS FOR TAMWORTH QUARTET

Four Tamworth players have been called up to the Australian Over 50s Men’s Oztag training squad.

Joining the eight selected in other age groups, are north west co-captains, Jock Stier and Michael McKinnon.

Garth Pennefather retains his green and gold jersey from April’s Trans Tasman series, and Richard Rowlings returns to the top squad for the first time in two years.

They’ll attend a two day camp in Sydney in February, ahead of selection.
