Beach goers can swim safer now at Tweed’s North Kingscliff beach.
An emergency response beacon has been installed – which gives people a direct link to lifesaving services during emergencies at the unpatrolled beach.
It’s one of 22 installed along the state’s coastline, expanding the effort to protect swimmers in New South Wales.
