Broadwater residents will be treated to a
free concert this Saturday night at Ballina’s Cherry Street Sports Club.
Shannon Noll and supporting bands provide the entertainment….
While money from five pallets of beers donated by Sydney’s Mounties Club will go to flood victims in the Broadwater community.
Cherry Street Sport Club’s General Manager Tere Sheehan said they wanted to host the event at Broadwater Bowls Club but it wasn’t possible.
“We’ll rearrange the outside area here and we’ll get ready for Nolls and his support bands which is a ticketed show and 100% of that ticket price will go to Broadwater as well,” Mr Sheehan said.
Nineteen staff from the Mounties will also fly up to assist Cherry Street for the evening.
