A 70-year-old man has been charged with a number of stealing offences after almost 90 pairs of underwear were found in his Tamworth home.
After receiving a number of reports of underwear being stolen off clotheslines, police searched the man’s home and arrested him just before 2:30 yesterday afternoon.
He will appear before Tamworth Local Court on January 7.
