POPULAR ANZAC DAY DISPLAY RECREATED AT CLUB TAREE

A popular Anzac Day display is being re-created for a second year at Club Taree.
Staff and volunteers placing 1000 poppies and more than 1400 flags on the lawn today.
The flags marking the ex-service men and women who served during the world wars.
“Last year we started the initiative and it was so well received by the community as a way to take some time and reflect on those who have served in the local area,” Club Taree CEO Paul Allan said.
The Anzac Day march and ceremony will be held at the war memorial on Victoria Street.
