Coffs Harbour’s Festival of Golf continued today with the North Coast Amatuer Open getting underway. 50 of the region’s best golfers lined up for the 54 hole competition which is played over two days.
“We’ve got a number of state players from New South Wales and Queensland there’s a couple of guys off plus three and plus four which if pretty good golf.”
Dispite heavy rain early in the week the course, which is also hosting the Ladies Classic, was in good condition today.
” Little bit wetter than we would like but you can’r control the weather we’ve had this year everyone is commenting on the greens how excellent they are so that’s great.”
