COVID19 UPDATE: BALLINA RESDENT DIES WITH THE VIRUS

Sadly the Northern Health District is reporting one COVID related death in the latest period – a Ballina resident aged in their 80’s.

However the region saw a drop in cases, with 460 new infections.

There’s 31 people being cared for in hospital, two of those are in intensive care.

Meanwhile, the Mid North Coast recorded 331 new cases, and thankfully, no deaths.
