ANGOURIE’S CHRIS ZAFFIS FINISHES IN 9TH PLACE AT CITY OF NEWCASTLE PRO

Angourie’s Chris Zaffis has had a spectacular day at the City of Newcastle Pro, finishing ninth, overall.

Zaffis scored a 9 in his heat in the round of 32, earning him a spot in the quarter finals.

However, he struggled to score higher than a 5.33 in his next heat.

Meanwhile, Byron’s Kyuss King was eliminated early after struggling to find his groove – scoring a 4.50 and landing in 25th place.
