WEATHER: HOT START TO AUTUMN CONTINUES

Northern Australia is still very clear and very dry. The large pool of heat over Central Australia remains in place causing temperatures to soar into the mid 30s for the NW and Hunter Valley each day. Showers continue in the NE corner of NSW and SE QLD. These shower will be less frequent tomorrow. Seabreezes will keep coastal communities cooler topping out in the high 20s just a little ways inland around 10 to 15 kilometres temperatures are likely to keep reaching the 30 degree mark. Mid 30s further inland.
